So是副詞，但也可起代詞的作用代替一個(gè)句子或短語(yǔ)，指剛說(shuō)過(guò)的事情意思是：這樣如此。

用在believe Think expect suppose imagine guess動(dòng)詞后代替前文提出的觀點(diǎn)，既可以用肯定句，也可以用于否定句。Will Bob come by boat this evening Bob？今天晚上會(huì)乘船來(lái)嗎？I think so /I don&39;t think so我認(rèn)為他會(huì)的/我認(rèn)為他不會(huì)的。

用在hope， I&39;m afraid后代替前面提出的觀點(diǎn)，但只用于肯定句。It is going to rain this evening.今天晚上要下雨。I hope so希望如此。（不可以說(shuō)I don&39;t hope so.）He said he was defeated and I&39;m afraid so.他說(shuō)他被打敗了，恐怕是這樣的。（不可說(shuō)I&39;m not afraid so.）3.用動(dòng)詞+so代替動(dòng)詞+賓語(yǔ)，以避免重復(fù)。If she notice is she never says so.就算她留意到，她也從來(lái)不說(shuō)。She told me to get the tickets and I will do so as soon as possible.她讓我去買(mǎi)票，我會(huì)盡快去買(mǎi)的。He thinks I dislike him, but that just isn&39;t so.

他以為我不喜歡他，其實(shí)不是那樣的。

特別提示：

1.do so代替的動(dòng)作，必須是可以由主觀意愿支配的，否則不可以用。

She lost all the money, I didn&39;t know how she did.

她丟了所有的錢(qián)，我真不知道他是怎么搞的。（丟錢(qián)不是由人的主觀意愿決定的）

2.動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者不一致時(shí)不用do so ，而用do it 或do that.

I don&39;t have enough time to help you let god do it /that.
